DR. JIM DARLING

Gray & Humpback Whale Researcher

with NICOLE CANN, SARA GIVEN, LINDSAY CURTIS

You’re invited to a fun and n-tastic storytelling event. Join researchers, naturalists, and whale-enthusiasts alike as they share some of their favourite whale tales from along our coast. We’ll be joined by special guest Dr. Jim Darling, pioneer of grey whale and humpback research. For more than 25 years, Jim has been watching the migration of grey whales and the songs and behaviour of humpbacks in the Paci c Northwest and Hawaii. We can be sure he’ll have many stories to tell.

Since we know that a good story can come from anyone we also invite you to tell your favourite tale at the event and we’ll add it to the library at whale-tales.org.

The evening will begin with a gourmet taco dinner by Hubertus and storytelling will follow at 7:30 pm.
