Jim Darling has lead research projects on whales for over 25 years, specializing in grey and humpback whales of the North East Pacific. His book, Humpbacks—Unveiling the Mysteries, is a must-read for anyone interested in these fascinating animals. Jim’s research is based in Tofino and Maui and he’s been invited back to Saturna to share more depth about his research, focused on his acoustic whale song and vocalization recordings.
